Aurélie Porcheron, another researcher, also agrees that thick eyebrows are superior to thin ones. According to her, the contrast between thick eyebrows and one's skin makes them appear younger. Just look at Lily Collins. She is already in her early 30's, but her pictures make her seem like she's only in her 20's. That's all thanks to her thick brows. Suppose they are thin, the celebrity would look older. Porcheron's explanation for this is that people subconsciously use facial features to perceive one's age. And since brows are known to grow thinner as we age, thick brows are associated with youthfulness.
Thick Eyebrows Allow "Reshaping" the Face
We all have different face shapes — some with more "flaws" than others. For example, one's eyes may be farther apart compared to the average distance between them. Or, someone's face may be longer than usual.
These "flaws" can be fixed by shaping the brows. To illustrate, people with long faces should opt for longer brow tails and flatter, curved brows with a shallow arch.
